Lampung, this is one of province that Indonesia has. Lampung currently is conducting the Governor election for 2008-2013 periods. But, here we wont really talking about that. Even though there is some problem with its politic condition because currently facing the election process, but here we will talk about its place, natural resource and some exotics place that Lampung has.
Kalianda Resort
As we know that Lampung is the first place, province and city that place in the south of Sumatra Island. If you come from Jakarta, or Java Island and using water transportation such as Ferry, speedboat and some traditional transportation, you will arrive in Lampung, precisely in Bakauheni port within 1,5 until 2 hours. Just after you arrive and out form your boat, you will be shown with the exotic scene of its beach, atmosphere and its villagers.
During the trip, between Jakarta and Lampung, you can see some good building, which is usually used for breeding the shrimp, lobster and crab. You can see that this place, in Lampung and in any part of Lampung will be very beautiful to visit and will make you happy.
That only form the trip and the scene you will get during the trip. Once you come and arrive in Lampung, I am sure that you won’t forget and leave Lampung for your rest of your life. If you don’t even know what are the best places that you can visit once you arrive, I think this article will quite help you. Right after you arrive in Lampung especially with boat, you will arrive in Kalianda, which is the south place in Lampung. Near the port, Bakauheni port you will find the Pulau Pasir, Pasir Putih, Kalianda Resort beach and so on. Actually all of those beaches are placed near the port and become one unit with the port.
Form the beach itself; I am sure you won’t be disappointed with that. In those places, you will find white sands, fresh air because it directly comes form the sea, fresh fish if you want to eat some, and also cheap entrance tickets. May be the first place you can visit is Kalianda Resort. As the name imply, this resort will likely dedicated for middle up people. You can find the best service like you were in five star hotels here. You can find some cottages if you want to stay, café, mini hotels, family corner, karaoke and so on. Talking about the entrance tickets, I am sure you will very surprise, because compare to Ancol or Marina beach in Jakarta it is lots cheaper.
Another place, which is in the same road if you just arrive in Lampung is Pulau Paisr beach and Pasir Putih beach. As the name, which is using “Putih” mean “white” and “Pasir” mean “sands”, so the most glaring is the sands and the scene. Here, you only find white sands and beautiful scene. Oh ya, I just remember that in Lampung you can find different kind of beach. The two beaches here are suitable for your family tour, because you can swim there, but for Kalianda Resort will quite risky and you can just enjoy the scene.
That are some information that you can use when you firstly come to Lampung and want to enjoy some beautiful place in Lampung. Actually there are lots more inside Lampung. You can come to the biggest elephant school in Indonesia, which is Way Kambas, the best traditional craft in Lampung in Taman Budaya Lampung, Pasar Seni, and some highland in Lampung. Hopefully it can really help you and you can enjoy your trip in Lampung.
